Wine Red

Burgundy, Oxblood... I call it wine red. It´s the color of the season.
This time I tried to look for something more elegant and simple, and came out with this look.
Found the skirt while shopping in H&M, and it´s so comfy and warm!
It´s the last week before Christmas, and I´m really looking forward to it! I will finally have spare time to finish some cool stuff that´s been going on lately.

Esta vez quise apostar por algo elegante y simple, y este fue el resultado.
Encontré esta falda en H&M, y es tan cómoda y calentita!
Y ya solo queda una semana para navidad, y la verdad es que tengo bastantes ganas que lleguen las vacaciones! Por fin tendré tiempo para terminar algo en lo que he estado metida últimamente.

Army Jacket

Bought this jacket a few months ago, but I didn´t had the chance to show it here.

I know you might be fed up of this trend. So, after seeing the same jackets on everyone, I wanted to add something different, and  combined it with 2 authentic medals from an antique shop  in the UK.

The one with the ribbon is the Burma Star, awarded for service in the Burma Campaign between 1941 and 1945, and the Artists Rifles is a volunteer regiment of the Brittish Army.

Me compré la chaqueta hace unos meses, pero no he tenido la ocasión de mostrárosla.

Sé que puede que estéis saturadas del estampado militar. Así que, después de ver que todo el mundo tenía las mismas chaquetas, quise añadirle un toque distinto, y opté por combinarla con 2 medallas auténticas, compradas en una tienda de antigüedades de Inglaterra.

La que tiene el lazo es la Burma Star, otorgado por el servicio en la Campaña de Birmania entre 1941 y 1945, y la Artists Rifles es la medalla de regimiento voluntario del ejército Británico.

Christmas Spirit

Finally we decided to set the Christmas tree up!
I get very exited hanging the different ornaments on the tree, just like a kid.
Now the lounge feels more cozier.

I just can´t wait for Santa to get down the chimney. And yes, I still get excited the night before, and I wake up super early to open my presents up!

Por fin hemos puesto el árbol de Navidad!
Disfruto como una mañaca cuando cuelgo los diferentes adornos.
Ahora el salón es mucho más acogedor.

No puedo esperarme a que baje Santa por la chimenea . Y sí, aun me ilusiono la noche antes, y me despierto muy temprano para abrir los regalos.

Touch of red

After some crazy rainy weekends, I´ve had the chance to do this shooting, thanks to my boyfriend Fran^^
It´s not particularly cold outside, quite mild I would say... but it gets chilly at night.
I had this blue dress for 4 years now, and it still fits me, size M, and now I find it difficult to fit into a size M in Pull&Bear , because the sizes have shrunk. It´s common to find a XL item that actually looks like an S fitting...
The only place where I see reasonable fittings is H&M.
What do you think?

Después de unas semanas lluviosas, he tenido la oportunidad de hacer esta sesión, gracias a mi novio Fran^^.
No hace mucho frío fuera, bastante templado diría yo... pero refresca por la noche.
He tenido este vestido azul durante 4 años, y aún me cabe, talla M, y ahora encuentro difícil encontrar una prende de la talla M en Pull&Bear que me quepa, porque las tallas han encogido.  Ahora es bastante normal  encontrarme con una prenda de la talla XL que podría perfectamente pasar por una S...
La única tienda donde hay tallas más razonables es H&M.
Qué opináis?

Getting Inspired

I´m sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I haven´t had much time these weeks.
I have new outfits to go, well new... actually there´s only 2 items that are new, the rest is old stuff, but still cool, you´ll see!

Siento mucho la falta de posts últimamente, pero no he tenido mucho tiempo éstas últimas semanas.
Tengo nuevos looks pensados, bueno, solo hay 2 prendas nuevas, el resto es viejo, pero sigue molando igualmente, ya lo veréis!

As you can see, the collection is inspired by the old-granny-style. 
Cat t-shirts, knitted jumpers, floral prints... clearly 90´s vibe.

Con Mila De Wit y Nyasha Matonhodze, nos llega la nueva colección Resort 2013 de Wildfox.
Como podéis ver, la colección se inspiró en el granny style (estilo abuelita).
Camisetas con gatos, tricot, floral print... una clara influencia de los 90.

Microscopy

These are some of the microorganisms  found in some contaminated yogourts. This means that the yogourts have been left outside the fridge and without a lid, waiting for some more stuff (mold) to grow on them, and this is the result.
The yogourt it self actually contains lactobacteria, wich is healthy for us.
Well, this is my artistic way  of representing these little creatures wich we are surrounded of.

Éstos son algunos de los microorganismos encontrados en algunos yogures contaminados. Esto significa que hemos dejado destapado el yogourt, y hemos esperado a que crecieran cosas en él (moho),  y  este el es resultado.
El yogourt en sí contiene lactobacillus, que es sano para nuestro organismo.
Bueno, esta es mi forma artística de representar a estos pequeños bichos, de los cuales estamos rodeados.
